Provo River Inn

This Inn was quiet, quaint, warm and so comfortable with a river flowing right beside it that I could hear from my window. I love this place. My first time there, and I plan on only staying here whenever I am in Provo. Thank you Provo River Inn for a wonderful and very pleasant experience. Breakfast was included, and Staff was so Kind. Awesome stay!

If what you care about is a cheap quiet place to sleep with a locked door and pet friendly, this is great! If you care about the tub being clean, an absence of hair in the sink, and a comfortable mattress, pick somewhere else. It was weird when I called and asked for their website to book directly and was told they don’t have one? But that I could book on any major booking site or give a credit card over the phone.

Great little place to stay. Came out from Cali an was super excited for the indoor pool an hot tub but they were unfortunately under construction. If you want an inexpensive place to stay then this is it. Near every thing has cute river behind it.

Almost every time I have stayed at the Baymont it has been, if not the most affordable, free. I stayed with a couple friends and they did not mind that we were in and out so much that sleeping was not planned. The nearby 7-Eleven was very convenient for drinks and snacks and the Neighborhood Walmart even provided us with plenty of heated foods. They’re both within walking distance of the Baymont. Plus even closer is the bus line that is within just a few minutes to University Place. A walking trail along the river goes right along the back side of the Baymont and has pick nick tables and benches to sit and listen to the wrestling waters while a cool breeze rushes through the trees. The staff here is especially friendly and don’t mind visiting so long as the person who gets the room is fine receiving the visitors. The traffic is very light this time of year but very full in July around the 4th and 24th. Father’s Day as well. The complementary continental breakfast is absolutely top notch with high quality food and snacks. The breakfast is open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. That’s plenty of time to fill her up with 2nds and 3rds even. The pool was being redone during my last stay but you bet your bottom dollar that it’s not going to be my last stay for too long. I actually live 3 minutes away but taking a vacation 3 minutes away from home for 3 days is still a very refreshing experience for the summer. Parking is so perfect as well. No problems with finding an open spot near an entry and the key cards that let you into your room also let you access the premises which is secure and monitored by video camera surveillance. Check in at or around 4:00 PM. Checkout at 11:00 AM. Don’t mind the secret service asking for drugs because they are not looking for them. They’re keeping us safe by finding the bad apples in the bunch and making sure you too have a safe stay. This is not a trapp motel/hotel. The Baymont is an upclass quality place to stay. Weather your from out of town or from down the street like me, you will enjoy the pleasantries that The Baymont affords and provides you with at most decent prices and availability. The next time I have the urge to vacation nearby I will be staying at The Baymont because I have never had any problems or bad experiences in my many stays here. I really like this place a lot when I want a break from my humble home. Ohh, before I forget, each suite is fitted with an air conditioner that can also heat the room fairly well. The mini fridge is also a bigger better bet for your food and drinks. There’s no creepy two way mirrors with big brother tryna check you like all those other places. The furnace is heavy duty and you will never run out of hot water. Jim Carrey would have said, “ Yeah! Finally water that’s made hot enough to wash away the shame of selling Peety to a blind boy!” “I TOLD YOU I’D TAKE CARE OF IT” Sweet…. Don’t question it. The outfits that charge less have rats, mice, roaches and flys. And those that charge more are just charging you for their business name on your credit card bill so they can get your neighbors and their cats and dogs to try to stay since they really don’t have a chance with spys like us… ;)

Good motel. Our room was clean and looked nice. Light breakfast was included, and a big plus is that they allowed dogs.

Quiet, Honestly it was good. If you are wanting a good night's sleep, I would definitely give a thumbs up. Rooms were decent for an older motel. Furnishings were a bit worn as expected but it had a microwave and fridge, it was clean and comfy. If you are expecting it to be like an upscale Hollywood Hilton Hotel, you will be disappointed, however, I would range it in the middle of the road category. I will be using this motel again if rooms are available when I need to go to Provo or surrounding areas. I also had one of the best nights sleep, the bed was so comfortable.

Good for the price. Location is fantastic. This was the most reasonable hotel i could find for a night (that had reasonable reviews). Hotel was pretty quite. Room was clean. Some furniture was broken and needed replaced. The AC unit rattled. The pool and hot tub were great. The pool area did need some work. Breakfast was available although it would've been nice for them to have more than just muffins, bread and waffles. I was happy to see they had apples. Overall, i would stay again. Price wasn't bad. Area felt very safe.

What a pleasant surprise! Provo River Inn is a quality hotel in a nice setting for a discount hotel rate. Only thing is, the owners/operators need to update the hotel's GoogleMaps info I tried to explain this to the desk clerk when I checked in, but he didn't seem to understand the significance. I found the hotel on GoogleMaps, clicked on the hotel's website link, and tried to make my reservation there. The website reservation window would not allow me to enter my stay dates. That seemed odd. Okay, the hotel is shown on GoogleMaps as Baymont By Wyndham. I am a Wyndham Hotels Rewards Card holder, so I went to the Wyndham website. That site shows Wyndham does not have a Baymont hotel anywhere in Utah. What the heck? Come to find out, the hotel's GoogleMaps info is all outdated, and their website is obsolete. Not sure why it's even still on a server somewhere. Hey, Provo River Inn, join the 21st Century! Lots of folks like me frequently use GoogleMaps to find lodging, restaurants, auto parts stores, etc., especially when we travel.
